Diagram of female reproductive system showing uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, endometriosis implants, bladder.
Diagram titled 'Beyond the Pelvis: Common Conditions That Coexist with Endometriosis'. It shows sections on immune & inflammatory links, systemic & other associations, gynecological comorbidities, and shared biology explaining coexistence with endometriosis. Includes icons of lungs, allergies, a flame, a brain, stomach, thyroid, pain, cancer, uterus, ovaries, DNA, and a lightbulb.

Extent of Endometriosis (Stages)

  • Stage I (Minimal): Small, superficial lesions/implants on the ovaries or tissue lining the pelvis; no scarring.1

  • Stage II (Mild): More implants that are deeper in the tissue; some scar tissue may be present.2

  • Stage III (Moderate):3 Deep implants; presence of endometriomas (cysts) on ovaries; adhesions (scar tissue) may fuse organs together.4

  • Stage IV (Severe):5 Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE); many deep implants; large cysts; severe adhesions distorting pelvic anatomy.6

Endosure Detection Capability

  • Universal Detection: Endosure detects the disease regardless of the stage (I–IV) or location.7

  • Deep & Hidden Disease: Unlike ultrasound or laparoscopy which may miss microscopic or hidden lesions, Endosure identifies the systemic electrical signal caused by the disease, even if it is deep or extra-pelvic.
